With the arrival of hot weather, it is inevitable to start using the air conditioning in our car.
What happens when cold air doesn’t come out? Do you know the causes?
Some you can fix yourself, but other more complex ones you will unfortunately have to take to the mechanic.
One of the most common and easy to fix causes is the filter. Check that it is clean and in place.
It could also be due to a loss of refrigerant gas, an electrical fault that causes the fans to not work or the air system compressor. The latter can only be fixed by your trusted mechanic.
Another reason why it may not work is if you only use it during the summer, you would have to activate it once a month for a few minutes in the winter. You also don’t have to be inside the vehicle when you do this, otherwise you might catch a cold, get sick and have to use our health insurance …!!!
In any case, we recommend that you always keep your vehicle up to date with its inspections.
