Seasonal time change

On Saturday night we will have to move the clock forward one hour, that is, at 2 a.m. it will be 3 a.m. and thus we will welcome daylight saving time.

For the time being, as announced by the European Parliament, the elimination of the seasonal time change will not be effective until 2021. In April 2020, European states will have to announce which time they will choose, whether summer or winter time.

In Spain, the government spokesperson and education minister, Isabel Celaá, has stated that despite having studied the report of the commission of experts, no changes are being considered. She also indicated that they had not reached any conclusive resolution regarding the large number of repercussions that this could have at an economic and cultural level.

We will have to wait until next year to see if Spain, or Andorra, chooses which time zone to adopt as the final one.

And you, which time do you prefer, summer or winter? Tell us!
