We are just a few days away from finishing a different, strange year that many of us hope we will never have to experience again.
But not everything has been negative in this year 2020. From ASSAP we want to highlight positive events of this year (we all already know the negative ones):
- Less pollution
Quarantine and teleworking have brought us many negative things, it is true, but we must also say that we have managed to reduce pollution levels and reach levels that had not been achieved for many years.
- The water in rivers, lakes, seas and canals… Cleaner
We have seen how water quality has improved exponentially in practically all places around the world. Our marine “friends” are breathing much better.
- The human being has evolved
In the wake of the COVID19 pandemic, acts of kindness and good faith have been the order of the day (and we are very happy about it! :))
Young people have gone out of their way to help those most in need, we have travelled to bring food to those who need it most, we have supported and shared moments of anguish with our neighbours (I’m sure you didn’t even know them before) and we have been able to see how a small country like Andorra, rowing together, becomes a very large country.
And ultimately… It has been a year in which we have valued the people around us much more, we have valued what is really important and that is nothing other than sharing our time with those we love the most and those who love us the most.
And what can we expect from 2021?
The pandemic will certainly continue to be present in our day but with a more hopeful outlook since vaccines have already begun to be administered, we will be able to continue traveling and moving around as before, and hopefully businesses will begin to recover to pre-pandemic levels.
And above all… We will not fall again into the same error of forgetting our family, friends, colleagues, partners, neighbors… Of forgetting the people we love and those who love us.
Welcome 2021! We look forward to seeing you! 🙂
