Despite being one of the smallest states in Europe, the Principality of Andorra is one of those with the most museums per square kilometre. A large network of spaces spread across different parts of the country that offer visitors an exceptional cultural offering.

The Principality of Andorra has numerous cultural resources as a result of its rich past lived among the mountains of the Pyrenees. Customs and traditions that have been preserved over the centuries by the people and countrymen of the place. One of these resources, of incalculable value, are the Museums of Andorra . Most of them were created with a very specific objective: to make known the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the Principality and its surroundings.

  • National Automobile Museum

    A visit to the National Automobile Museum will allow you to discover previously unseen mechanical artefacts that have been used to transport people and goods around the world, one of the most important challenges of the 20th century. Considered one of the most important automotive museums in southern Europe, it is made up of eighty vehicles, sixty motorcycles, a hundred bicycles and a collection of objects related to the world of motoring.
  • Museum of Electricity

    The MW Electricity Museum offers a walk through the history of electricity production in Andorra. An exhibition on the construction of roads in Andorra, an explanation of what energy and electric current are, how electricity is produced in a hydroelectric power station but also the evolution of electrification in Andorra during the 20th century. You can also see the two generators of the hydroelectric power station installed in 1934. From May to September, the MW Electricity Museum offers the possibility of doing the Engolasters Hydroelectric Trail, where you can visit the interior of the Engolasters lake dam and discover all the secrets of electricity production.
  • Postal Museum

    The need to communicate has been a challenge for human beings for many years, and communicating at a distance has been a challenge for society. At the Postal Museum you can learn about the evolution of the postal service in Andorra through an audiovisual presentation, where you can access an exhibition of 50,000 stamps issued in Andorra, as well as their production and printing.
  • Miniature Museum Despite its small size, the Miniature Museum houses micro-miniatures made from noble materials such as gold and platinum, but also from common materials such as paper, fruit seeds or even grains of rice. And if you like dolls, you can also see the unique Matryoshkas handmade by artist Nicolai Siadristy.

  • Perfume Museum The Andorra Perfume Museum shows the passion and special sensitivity for perfumes in Andorra. This museum is an educational centre where you can learn all the secrets of these prestigious 20th century colognes, when perfume began its great heyday, and where you will delve into the memorable history and evolution of this luxury product. The Andorra Perfume Museum has an interesting permanent exhibition featuring more than 39,000 unique fragrances. In addition to its permanent collection, the Andorra Perfume Museum acts as a meeting point for sellers and collectors from all over the world interested in the world of fragrance. In addition, and with a bit of luck, you will be able to enjoy unpublished presentations of the most prestigious international cosmetic brands.
  • Comic Museum

    The Comics Museum is a place of worship for all comic lovers. With more than 1,000 copies and unique pieces dating from 1904, such as Little Nemo in Dreamland, through to the 1940s and 1970s, with the Spanish works of Captain Trueno and Esther and his world, you can also find European comics, such as the famous Tintin, Lucky Luke or the beloved Asterix and Obelix. But the jewel of the Comics Museum is the legendary Marvel collection. The Comics Museum regularly hosts thematic exhibitions by internationally renowned authors, such as Antonio Bernal, Alfonso Font, Philippe Xavier, Ana Miralles, Joan Mundet and Carlos Ezquerra, among many others.
  • Reig Tobacco Factory Museum

    Until not long ago, tobacco production was a major factor in the country and was the main source of income for the Andorran economy. Even today, we can see numerous tobacco plantations. The Tobacco Museum – Reig Factory in Sant Julià de Lória will take you on a journey through the evolution, step by step, of the production of this widely consumed product. In this museum you can discover the entire process from the cultivation of the leaf and its marketing to the machines and tools used in the factory.
  • La Farga Rosell – Interpretation Centre

    The Rossell Forge is a living example of Andorra’s pre-industrial heritage. Completely restored and converted into an Iron Interpretation Centre, it will show you, through audiovisual media, the process of production and transformation of iron ore into ingots and the importance of metallurgy in Andorra.
  • Casa de Areny Museum – Plandolit and Casa Rull Museum

    The Areny-Plandolit House Museum and the Rull House Museum are two museums that were made up of two old houses of two Andorran families that will bring you closer to the way of life of a family of peasants with land, at a time when farming and livestock farming were the economic basis of Andorran rural society in the 17th century and where you will be able to see first-hand how families functioned, the organization within them and the division of tasks and obligations within the home.
